Submissions are now OPEN for MADDRS’ very first print anthology, Whole Lotta $$ in This MoFo: An Employer’s Guide to Navigating Legalized Larceny within American Healthcare, to be published in October 2022 by The Empowered Press. We seek writing that addresses and explores the truths employers need to know about modern-day employee benefit programs and insights into the competing incentives that are fighting against them. This will be the first of a three-part Anthology series and the only one geared toward Employer readers.
Many employers have experienced (and are experiencing) fatigue and irritation related to options, vendors, and decisions they are forced to make about their employee benefits program, all while feeling like they are not sure whom to trust or what to believe. Through the voice of subject matter experts, we aim to help the C Suite and Human Resource leaders wade through the noise and discover what’s vital for them to know as they craft a strategy for a sustainable, affordable, and effective employee benefits program.
To be considered, submissions should be educational, not promotional.
Topic ideas may include but are not limited to:
· cost-containment strategies
· compliance considerations
· vendor selection
· the role of primary care
· network strategies
· ancillary products
· understanding how risk is rated
· pharmacy benefits
· population health management
· the role of consultants, etc.
This project is funded by MADDRS. MADDRS is an independent business coaching and operations consulting firm that primarily serves agencies, service providers, and providers/networks.
MADDRS hopes to use this project to elevate progressive, genuine thought leaders within the industry and arm employer decision-makers with valuable, substantive, and actionable information.
